Harriet (No 1 of several) was built by the Ocean Yacht Company at Penpol Boat Yard in 1996 (see brass plaque) and first shown at the Earl's Court Boat Show, now completely renovated and refitted by Polvarth Boatyard (St Mawes) in 2020 and showing as virtually new. The original wood Harriet (from which a mould was taken) was built around 1935 by (reputedly) Percy Mitchell of Mevagissey and at one time was owned by Admiral Woodward - Captain of 'Britannia'.
She is an extremely elegant launch (elegant enough to be seen at Henley) but built and equipped for use in coastal waters for days out, pub crawling/sightseeing, fishing, beach visiting, picnicking, champagne consuming and general mooching about.
